If you are a Pakistani gal, chances are that every Ramazan you've been in a situation where some smart aleck asked you "Aaj roza hai?. There are two answers obviously; one is- "Yes! Of course. which is a total lie since I cant really admit I'm having my period, and now that you've made me lie I'm going to feel guilty about it and the other is "No! I dont know why we dont talk about it enough or don't really discuss it openly- but probably this was the reason why the Always-Efrodol Aagahi Session held at the Jinnah University for Women, here in Karachi was so successful.
Dr. Haleema Yasmin gave a really good talk on the cramps, bloating, nausea those other horrible systems that we girls have to face each month. I liked how she didnt use any unnecessary medical terminology which would have confused the 300 girls attending the session. ...
